Emmanuel Abiodun, Oracle Corporation

Emmanuel is currently an Oracle architect focused on building and releasing Oracle’s Blockchain Cloud Service. His work focuses on defining and architecting the next generation of distributed ledger platforms, which will help Oracle's customers build and participate in the next generation of business ecosystems and networks.

Emmanuel’s involvement in the Blockchain space goes as far back as the beginning of Bitcoin. Since then, Emmanuel has founded, co-founded, and participated in various high-profile blockchain, smart-contract products including CloudHashing, PeerNova, and Servicefy.


When not at work or advising startups, Emmanuel can be found building Lego with his two children in San Francisco, California.

Nancy Ackerman, Vertical Edge Consulting Group

Nancy Ackerman is the Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) practice lead; she has over 15 years of experience with the Hyperion suite of products, with specific emphasis on the financial consolidation products (FCCS, HFM, & Enterprise).

As an Oracle Certified Hyperion Financial Management implementation consultant, Nancy has led, designed, and implemented countless successful projects—from gathering requirements to delivery to training the end users. Her responsibilities include not only the development of the application, but also managing the project to meet customers’ requirements. She is experienced in working with multi-currency applications and multi-national companies. Her background also includes implementing FDM, building complex FR Studio reports, developing Smart View reports, and training administrators and end-users on the use of the products.

Nancy has extensive knowledge of business processes, and her experiences span across numerous companies in a wide range of industries, including automotive, manufacturing, financial services, real estate, health care, and wholesale distribution, just to name a few.

Nancy has a proven track record of successfully delivering on customer expectations, meeting project deadlines, and staying within budget. Her excellent communication and project management skills provide effective results and positive interactions with the customer.

Gary Adashek, General Electric

Gary Adashek, an Oracle ACE ♠, works for the General Electric Company (GE). In his current role with GE Digital, Gary is a senior manager of data solutions (i.e. integrations) for ERP, EPM, and BI technologies. Prior to this role, Gary was with GE Healthcare as a member of the initial global Hyperion implementation team with a concentration focus in Essbase & Hyperion Planning. Gary has a breadth and depth of work experience throughout his more than 15-year career, occupying various IT/finance roles within financial institutions, consumer packaged good industries, and global conglomerates.

Francisco Amores, inlumi

Francisco Amores is the EPM integration lead for Infratects, bringing to his role over eight years of experience as an EPM integration specialist, with a total of nine years in consulting services. Prior to Infratects, Francisco's responsibilities included EPM integration architect consulting, leading and implementing integration projects, facilitating project quality assurance, and delivering training for EPM integration tools (ODI, FDM, FDMEE). Client companies included Oracle, ING Insurance, Pirelli, and Sanofi Aventis. Francisco holds a degree in computer engineering from the University of Malaga and the University of Bedfordshire with a degree in project management from the University of Malaga.

Since October 2017, Francisco has been the domain lead for Master Data Management and EPM integration at inlumi group.

Francisco joined the ACE community in October 2015.

Bill Anderson, Datavail

Bill Anderson brings almost a decade of technology implementation and team management experience to Datavail’s services and delivery team. Primarily focused on the Oracle Analytics and Data Warehousing, he has a proven ability to integrate disparate heterogeneous data sources using a number of Oracle analytical reporting platforms. Bill has led multiple projects, developing moderate to complex solutions in industries such as financial services, manufacturing, and the public sector. He is also a course instructor for a number of Datavail’s Oracle Analytics training courses.

Gustavo Rene Antunez, Pythian

Rene Antunez is an Oracle ACE; a speaker at Oracle OpenWorld, Oracle Developers Day, and Collaborate; co-president of ORAMEX (Mexico Oracle User Group); and web events chair for IOUG Cloud Computing Special Interest Group (SIG). He is a DBA team lead at Pythian, and he formerly worked for Oracle as a database consultant and solution architect, which involved many challenging projects such as Exadata, ODA, and EM 12c implementation, as well as upgrading projects specializing in backup strategy and high-availability solutions.

Beth Archacki worked in accounting for 10 years before joining the EPM team as an IT Manager. While working as an accountant she helped implement a worldwide ERP solution. Since Beth joined the EPM team, they have re-implemented their complete reporting system from legacy Hyperion Enterprise to EPM. She has implemented budget webforms for both sales budgets and admin budgets. She continues to grow the solution to expand beyond finance reporting projects by leveraging EPM solutions for projects such as project reporting and raw material forecasting.

Bernard Ash, EPM Clarity

Bernard Ash’s EPM technology specialties include the implementation and delivery of training for Hyperion Planning, Essbase, Integration (FDMEE, ODI, DRM, HAL, etc.), and custom API work. However, he has also worked extensively with web and relational database programming. 

Bernard has presented at conferences with audiences of all sizes and levels within Fortune 100 companies—from executives to programmers, and from the novice to the advanced, even including some who try to use their mouse as a remote control.

Joe Aultman, interRel Consulting

Joe Aultman first went to Essbase Bootcamp in 2000 and discovered that Essbase is the coolest technology out there. Since then, he has grown as an Essbase developer, planning administrator, Hyperion installer/upgrader/patcher, and designer, spending time at a major retailer, a major government services provider, and a major online advertising company. Having been lured by the siren song of consultancy in 2013, Joe now travels the country assessing EPM/BI implementations and advising large companies about what they ought to do.

Since 2009, Joe has spoken at multiple Kscopes, Connection Point, Rittman Mead BI Forum, many Hyperion/BI Road Shows, and smaller user group meetings on subjects such as the role of Essbase in the enterprise, automation with Groovy and the Essbase Java API, custom JavaScript for Planning, new features in EPM, best practices, and optimization.

Dietmar Aust, Opal-Consulting

Dietmar Aust is working in Germany as a freelance consultant, focusing on Oracle Application Express and Oracle XE. Starting in 1997, he worked for three years as a consultant for Oracle in Germany. Since then, he has helped numerous leading companies to successfully deliver web-based applications based on the Oracle product stack, especially the Internet Application server Oracle Portal and Reports. He is a regular presenter at various Oracle conferences including ODTUG, OOW, and DOAG. He conducts training classes on APEX and co-authored the book Oracle APEX und Oracle XE in der Praxis on APEX best practices in German, as well as the book Expert Oracle Application Express in English. Christopher Barbieri, Finit Solutions

Chris Barbieri joined Hyperion as an implementation consultant in 1999, later helping to launch Hyperion's Financial Management (HFM) product. He served as senior product issues manager for HFM, Smart View, DRM, and Shared Services for four years before returning to consulting in 2007. As an EPM system architect with Finit Solutions, Chris continues to be a leader in HFM application design and system performance. He is also an Oracle ACE.

For the last decade, he’s spent a lot of time writing, maintaining, and evangelizing Oracle Application Express applications.

Rajesh Bhatia, Oracle Corporation

Rajesh Bhatia is the VP of product development at Oracle Enterprise Performance Management. In his current role, Rajesh is responsible for the development of various applications focused on the close, consolidation, and reporting domain. Rajesh brings over 20 years of enterprise application development experience to Oracle Corporation. He started his career at Oracle working on collaboration applications before becoming a senior development manager in Oracle Financials. After this, he held senior management and executive roles at small successful startups focused on financial performance and compliance management, returning to Oracle in 2008.

Rajesh has a BS in computer science and engineering from the University of Illinois and an MS in computer science from Purdue University.
